5th Maintenance Battalion Reunion 2012

The 2012 5th Maintenance Battalion Reunion will be held April 11-12-13-14 &15 at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk in San Antonio.

When making individual reservations or confirming individual reservations, please call (210) 224-2500 and ask for 5th Maintance Battalion ( DS) a Vietnam Unit 1965-1973 group.

Reservations received after March 13, 2012 will be provided on a space available basis at the hotel’s current selling rate.

Individual reservations must be guaranteed for late arrival with a credit card or one night’s room and tax if guaranteeing with cash. Should cancellation of an individual reservation be necessary, cancellation must occur no later than 24 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee of first night’s room and tax.

25 rooms have been blocked for our 2010 reunion at the The Holiday Inn San Antonio Riverwalk. As in the past, attendees will be responsible for booking their own room. Room rates are $98.00 plus state and local taxes.

Hotel Check –In time is 4:00PM. Check-out is 12:00PM.

Now, for us bike riders,

There are several places in and around San Antonio that rent motorcycles. Reservations must be made in advance. This is the height of the bike season in the Hill Country. It looks like the costs are somewhere between $135 and $175 per day and that includes insurance, etc. Deposits seem to be a credit card for $2000, refundable when you get back with no damage. Anyone interested??

Raffle
The 2011 Reunion raffle in New Orleans was such a sucess that we will repeat it in San Antonio.As last year, please bring a donation valued at $15 -$25. Raffle tickets will be sold daily during the reunion. Some of these funds will be used to purchase additional raffle items, the rest of these funds will go into our treasury. There will be a Special Gift awarded at the end of the raffle for the lucky ticket holder. Please plan to participate, for this to be a success everyone attending must donate. Item Suggestions: 5th Maintenance Logo Items, Wine, Liquor, Flags, Military memorabilia, Gift Cards in sealed envelope (Home Depot, Lowes, Starbucks, cash in sealed envelope etc). At the raffle items will be chosen, ticket numbers will be called, each number will be repeated 3 times. If no one steps forward another number will be called. Ticket Prices: 1 for $1.00, 6 for $5.00, 15 for $10.00, 30 for $15.00
