Jesus E. Bautista was born on August 2 1948 in Tucson Arizona. Jesus was single when he was drafted into the Army.

Pfc Bautista started his tour in Vietnam on January 14 1968 and was assigned to the 526th CC&S Company. Jesus E. Baustista was TDY in Danang when he was killed in an enemy mortar attack on May 5th 1968. He was 19 years of age and had been in-country 112 days.

Jesus Estrada Bautista was laid to rest in Grand Canyon Pioneer Cemetary, also known as American Legion Cemetary, Nogales Arizona.
